Performance EnquiriesThe types of events at which we have performed have been many and varied including those for churches, historical societies, museums and libraries. We have taken part in arts festivals and have also done civic events and commercial performances such as providing the entertainment for Georgian themed evenings. For concerts, our songs are linked by historical detail about the music and often about the venue which we unearth by local research. They can be based on the season—Christmas, harvest etc, or perhaps the evolution of West Gallery music. Occasionally we have included social music, poetry or dance. Alternatively, we can just sing and play, as is usually the case for church services or, for instance, as an entertainment between the dancing for a ceilidh. Our Musical Director has CRB clearance at ‘enhanced’ level and we are available for workshops in schools, and similar events for young people. Every event is individually tailored to the requirements of our hosts. For further information or to arrange a performance contact our bookings secretary, Liz Rose.
